Recently I was checking out some videos by one of my favorite YouTubers – Alex Garza – and she mentioned that she did a collab with FabFitFun’s in house makeup line, ISH. For those that don’t know, ISH stands for I’m Smoking Hot. I thought the name was super clever. But Alex went on to talk about a product she worked on, the Lip Statement Palette. It is a palette full of lipsticks that can easily be blended together. I own nothing like this, so I decided to track it down and pick it up.

Needless to say, I think I’m hooked. I’ve always wanted to figure out how to do that ombre lip look like you see all over Pinterest and Instagram. With this palette that look is actually achievable! The palette comes with 12 different colors – which will look good on anyone – and comes with a tiny brush for application.

When it arrived I immediately started playing with it because it just looks fun. The colors are soft and mesh well together. While I think I’ll use my own brush for application, I would definitely recommend giving this palette a try if you’re curious to try out some new looks.

The colors are great whether you’re looking for neutrals or a statement option. The only downside to this palette is that I don’t want to have to throw it in my bag to reapply because I don’t find that the color lasts for a while. The top left color is a lip topper which is perhaps my favorite of these because I can apply it over anything. I doubt I’ll use any of the red shades because I have other favorite reds, but I know I’ll be putting the neutrals to good use and I think I will love this in the summer when I don’t want to use liquid lipstick because I find it too heavy.
