Lip Balm Lovin’

IMG_3558

When it comes to lip products I am most certainly not a “balm” person. During the day I’ll grab a lipstick or a gloss to wear to work. But when I come home and take off my makeup the one thing I make sure to do is moisturize my lips. Lately I’ve collected a few that I absolutely love and wanted to share.

The first one that I fell in love with is the Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Kiss Cupuacu Lip Butter. I’ve talked about this one before, but it remains a steady favorite. All Sol De Janeiro products rank high on my list and the scent is so incredible. This is perpetually on my night stand so I can always grab it before bed.

A while back I slowly started getting into Kopari products. My mom gave me the Kopari Lip Love recently and I can’t wait to use it each night. It not only smells amazing – so tropical! – but it truly puts the moisture back in my lips. All of the Kopari products are based in coconut oil and designed to better your skin. This product can be used as a lip gloss but I use it almost as a lip treatment.

The latest addition to my group is the Clary Collection All Purpose Balm. I heard about this from a Nashville blogger I follow on Instagram, and when I saw what it did for her skin, I knew I had to have it. This is created from all natural products and can be used really anywhere on your body. I love using this each night because I see such a different in how healed my lips are in the morning. And I love supporting small businesses – check this one out!

The one product I use during the day is the Bite Beauty Whipped Cherry Lip Scrub. This stuff is the BEST thing to use before you apply liquid lipstick. It smells amazing, and Bite makes all of their products to be food grade so it is another natural alternative. Every time I try to go and purchase this at Sephora – or even the time I tried to pick it up at the lipstick lab in NYC, there were SOLD OUT of this product. It is well loved for a reason!

What products do you love?
